About Jonathan

Jonathan is a New York City and Ashland, Oregon based actor and multidisciplinary theatre maker who has been performing and creating for the theatre in one way or another since the age of 10. After graduating high school from the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, he went on to receive his BFA in Theatre from The Boston Conservatory.

Shortly after graduating college, Jonathan was invited to join the acting company for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Over 10 years, he has performed in over 20 productions ranging from Shakespeare, musicals and new works. During his time there he was fortunate enough to originate roles in world premieres including Unison, a new work based off the never before seen poetry of August Wilson with the Universes, and Head Over Heels choreographed by Sonya Taya. He also had the honor of being the first male identifying actor to play Ado Andy (Annie) in the first gender-swapped production of Oklahoma! in its history under the direction of Bill Rauch.

In addition to his work at OSF, Jonathan has worked professionally in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Boston as well as other major regional theaters around the country. He has also had the pleasure of training with internationally renowned Commedia dell'Arte maestro Antonio Fava in Italy. With a fierce passion for art that pushes the boundaries of form, he hopes to cultivate joyful, playful and engaging work that excites and inspires audiences.
